Such format of a fashion exhibition is not new for the V&amp;A, but it is certainly the first time curators of the museum has tried to capture the story of the pioneering designer besides exhibiting her extraordinary pieces. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4103.jpeg\" data-lbwps-width=\"3024\" data-lbwps-height=\"4032\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4103.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12965\" src=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4103-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1920\" srcset=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4103-677x902.jpeg 677w, https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4103-356x475.jpeg 356w, https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4103-600x800.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">Split into ten themed sections, the show explores various stages of Chanel<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">s life as well as her changing approach to fabric, construction and silhouette. Made in collaboration with the House of Chanel and various owners of archive Chanel pieces, the exhibition features more than 200 looks by the <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">couturi<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u00e8<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">re<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">. It is the first time all these items are exhibited together, making this moment even more special for the lovers of the designer<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">s work. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4101-1.jpeg\" data-lbwps-width=\"3024\" data-lbwps-height=\"4032\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4101-1.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12985\" src=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4101-1-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1920\" srcset=\"https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4101-1-677x902.jpeg 677w, https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4101-1-356x475.jpeg 356w, https:\/\/londoncult.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/img_4101-1-600x800.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">The featured pieces include the famous little black dress, the 2.55 handbag, the tweed suit (featured among dozens of its much-loved variations) and Chanel<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">s debut perfume <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">N<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u00b0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">5<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">. The <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">couturi<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u00e8<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">re<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\"> has always been a controversial figure in the world of fashion and in the eyes of people unrelated to it. This V&amp;A exhibition doesn<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">t shy away from these facts regarding the designer<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s4\"><span class=\"bumpedFont15\">s life, neither it excuses them.
