Officially opened its doors on Saturday 2 December the London Made Me shop will trade throughout the festive period until Saturday, 30 December 2023 and showcase a unique collection of limited-edition artworks, homeware, clothing, ceramics, accessories and gifts.<\/span><\/p>\n

12 London creative businesses units to launch a unique retail experience together for eight weeks. One of participants is <\/span><\/span>The Republic of Park Royal<\/span><\/span><\/a>, an affordable creative studio who will be representing a range of creatives and artists based in the Acton and Park Royal Design District. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Featured creative products in-store by Interlock Studio, Kate Grimes Books, Clyworks, Peter Booth Designs, StuffnThings, Bill Amberg Studio, Tom Hertz, Sad Clown Printworks, Blast Studio, Victor Pedrosa, Blanc Ceramics, Dan Mauz, Chino Ridge, Coco Warner, Gildert Wedam, Brooke Fitzsimons, Bengin Art, Aziza Illustrates, Poppy Lennox, Danae Ripley, The Collection by Mads and Jules, Borough Workwear, Absolute Beginners, Koalaa and Plante<\/span><\/span> Carnivore.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One more participant is <\/span><\/span>Women of the Wick<\/span><\/span><\/a> (WOW) which was founded by Sara K\u00e4rp\u00e4nen, a multidisciplinary artist, writer, author and poet based in London.WOW is a feminist multimedia platform championing diverse storytellers in cities from the Hackney Wick and Fish Island zone. WOW hosts storytelling workshops, produces a monthly podcast called Girl Get A Real Job and publishs WOWZINE, an annual independent print magazine. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The latest WOWZINE issue presents a collection of more than 15 personal stories that delve into pleasure, desire and joy through art, design, architecture, sexuality, and gender. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Motleys<\/span><\/span><\/a> from the Ealing Road and Alperton zone, is a brand that promotes and celebrates the diversity of human cultural identities through representations of real-world people as fun and interactive decorative wooden characters. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As a brand championing human identity, they take their responsibility towards the environment very seriously. Consequently, each motley is specifically designed and made with longevity and to have minimum environmental impact. They have also committed to planting five trees for every motley they sell and have so far planted 8,000 trees<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

OMNISS<\/span><\/span><\/a> \u2014 an aesthetic-orientated, ethical fashion and lifestyle brand driven by character and focused storytelling. OMNISS is based at the heart of the Fashion District in the Hackney Wick and Fish Island zone and has been showcased at London Fashion Week and highlighted in publications including Forbes and Drapers. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Founded by Asya Ter-Hovakimyan and Francisco Zhou while studying design at London College of Fashion in 2016, they champion transparency in supply chain, local manufacturing, collaborate with women-led small enterprises and craftsmen in Armenia to preserve the art of making and create products that tell stories beyond the seams. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Through this initiative creative Londoners living or working in one of the city’s 12 zones will receive the unique experience, skills, knowledge and real-life practical experience needed to establish and launch a successful shop, gallery, exhibition or pop-up space in their own high streets and local areas. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
