Some designers have built Japanese tea houses nestled among broad-leaved maples; others have crafted punk sculptures with mohawks made of flowers; and yet others invite visitors to stroll through an &#8220;intelligent garden,&#8221; where artificial intelligence keeps a close eye on the wellbeing of every plant. The <em>Glasshouse Garden<\/em>, for example, centres on the idea of second chances \u2014 inspired by a rehabilitation project for women serving prison sentences. In <em>Garden of the Future<\/em>, first-time exhibitors explore how to grow edible plants in an increasingly unpredictable climate. And in <em>Save For a Rainy Day<\/em>, you can glimpse what tomorrow\u2019s landscape design might look like. Spoiler: expect lots of water, zero sentimentality, and total resilience to catastrophe. Looking for surprises? Here, a gardener might be anything: a climate activist, a philosopher, a storyteller, or an engineer. The only rules?
