Now in its third year, the festival is organised by renowned chefs and restaurateurs Muzaffar Sadykov and Bakhriddin Chustiy, with the support of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the UK, and the Uzbek diaspora. This year, we pay special tribute to Kamola Makhmudova, whose vision and dedication greatly contributed to the festival\u2019s growth and the unity of the Uzbek community in Britain.<\/p>\n\n\n

New for 2025: The Caravan of Uzbekistan Gastronomic Tour<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s highlight is the Caravan of Uzbekistan<\/strong>\u2014a gastronomic journey across the UK! From 5 to 17 June, a series of open-air pop-up events will visit major cities including Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff, Oxford, and London. Sample authentic Uzbek dishes\u2014from aromatic plov to crispy samsa\u2014prepared by the country\u2019s top chefs. The tour culminates at the London festival, where an astonishing 1 tonne of plov will be cooked in ten traditional cauldrons!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
