The exhibition features works by Alicia Paz, Ana Benavides, Andrea Segura, Paola Estrella, Regina Torres, and Rita Fernández, transforming Ixchel’s lower-ground-floor space into a living gallery until the 30th of November.

The exhibition takes its name and inspiration from Ixchel, the Maya goddess after whom the restaurant is named. A deity of many faces and associations, Ixchel is closely connected with weaving – the art of bringing individual threads together to create a single, interconnected piece.

Interwoven takes this idea as its starting point, bringing together distinct artists, practices and perspectives and weaving them into one collective exhibition.
