For the upcoming London event, Music Saves the World is partnering with World Heart Beat, a charitable arts organisation founded by Sahana Gero MBE. This eclectic concert will showcase a captivating constellation of talented and stylistically diverse musicians.
Pianist Fyodor Biryuchev will perform his own compositions, created in the spirit of Romanticism and touched with both tenderness and high expressivity.
Olga Glazova will demonstrate the beautiful art of traditional gusli performance, one of the oldest Russian multi-string plucked instruments.
Pianist Vladyslav Kuznetsov will perform a full set of pieces from the 1988 work “Metamorphosis” by the minimalist composer Philip Glass.
Synecdoche Montauk, the project of a London-based, Moscow-born singer-songwriter Savva Rozanov, will present a special acoustic set filled with imaginative poetry on the themes of identity and the ephemeral sense of nostalgia.
In conclusion to the evening, Gabriel Prokofiev, a composer and producer of classical and electronic music, will perform live electronics alongside members of his newly formed group: Gabriel Prokofiev Ensemble.
