Displaced Dreams: A Visual Journey into the Lives of Ukrainian Youth

London, 5 July — KiNO Project supported by Canon Young People Programme and Stone Nest is proud to present Displaced Dreams: Ukrainian Youth Amidst the Conflict – an evocative exhibition of over 100 photographs and several short films created by Ukrainian teenagers displaced by war. The exhibition runs between 5th and 8th of July and features works from London, Tallinn, Tbilisi, and Zaporizhzhia, as well as online workshops led by KiNO – a charity initiative which has been offering free photography and filmmaking classes since March 2022.

Event Highlights:

The exhibition will feature a Photography Exhibition with guided tours scheduled for Saturday, July 6th, from 12pm to 5pm, and Monday, July 8th, from 5pm to 9pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in captivating photographic narratives that vividly capture the essence of the youth’s experiences.

On Sunday, July 7th, Displaced Dreams will showcase a Short Film Screening & Discussion from 5pm to 8pm. This segment will showcase a curated selection of short documentaries and experimental films, followed by an engaging Q&A session with the filmmakers, providing deeper insights into the creative processes and narratives depicted.
