About the artist:

Svetlana Nagaeva. Born in 1981 in Dubna, a small town in the Moscow region of Russia, Svetlana now lives with her family in Antalya, Türkiye.

Svetlana is an artist in the broadest sense of the word — an animation director, photographer, writer, and illustrator. She creates children’s books and illustrates them in a variety of styles, including graphic art, collage, digital drawing, and acrylic painting.

She is a mother of four — which means her time is limited, but her creativity is boundless.
“I choose the style individually for each project,” she says.

Svetlana is fascinated by faces and characters.
“The most interesting models are in buses and metro trains. That’s why I love public transport,” she admits.

Her work often blends different media, with one form of art flowing into another.
Her artworks are held in private collections in Russia, the USA, Canada, Spain, and Türkiye.
