We are family run private dental practice carrying out all general dentistry work by experienced and knowledgeable dentists, who are working ethically and always in the best interest of the patients. During the examination visit a medical history is taken, dental and oral health are discussed with patients in details and their concerns are listed to fully for the best treatment plan. All available options are discussed with patients so they can make their decision on what treatment they would like to proceed with. Check-up appointments are supported by taking the necessary intraoral radiographs (small x-rays) and if deemed necessary taking of a panoramic dental radiograph (OPG – full mouth x-ray) will be considered after obtaining the patient’s consent for them.
We are a small team of two regular dental clinicians with two other visiting dentists who are called in when their service is required based on the complexity of dental implants work and/or complex orthodontics work (Invisalign). Our team is made up of clinical and non-clinical team members who are doing their best to look after the patients and provide professional care to make their experience pleasant and smooth.
The principal dentist/practice owner is the holder of two MSCs, one in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) and another in Dental Implantology. We take pride in being able to provide very complex dental treatments that is within our abilities, knowledge and experience to ensure least patients are referred outside the surgery for such treatments as RCT, Oral Surgery etc. Our associate dentist is a GDP, and is in the process of obtaining her MSc in Restorative Dentistry, which we believe will add enhance the treatments we provide in practice and we are looking forward to her success in completing this course.
We have multilingual staff members that makes it easier and more comfortable for our patients whose first language is not English.
Condition of registration of new patients: deposit of £50 for all adult patients and £20 for children under 18 years old; long treatments will need a £25 deposit per half hour of appointment booked – any deposit paid will be kept until the end of that course of treatment, the deposit will then be applied to the final bill;
appointments for up to half an hour will need a 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; and any appointments longer than 30 minutes will need a 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; penalty could apply if notice has not been met and the charge is £25/ half an hour appointment late cancelled or did not show for; unless there is a genuine reason for the late cancellation or FTA.
Initial check-up appointment will be needed for all new patients before arranging for longer appointment as the clinicians need to do their thorough checks, review the dental radiographs then to quote accurately and with the right amount of time needed for the procedure. However, if patients wish to book exam and hygiene together as initial appointment, that is acceptable.
The practice policy requires check-up appointments before long and complex treatment provisions. The initial consultation for new patients joining the practice will require a deposit, which they are welcome to pay over the phone using their credit cards, in person or via bank transfer; rest of the costs and treatments options can be viewed on our practice website.
